Michael Larkner, FNP
Family Nurse Practitioner National Certification through American Association of Nurse Practitioners
Michael was born and raised on the south side of Chicago in the vicinity of Midway Airport. He earned his B.S. degree in nursing from Lakeview College of Nursing/Eastern Illinois University, followed by his M.S. in nursing/family nurse practitioner from Lewis University. Additionally, Michael received his Family Nurse Practitioner National Certification through the American Nurse Credential Center (ANCC).
Michael brings extensive nursing experience to the team at Ear, Nose & Throat Consultants of East Tennessee. Prior to joining our practice, Michael worked as an OR nurse for 10 years at Rush University Medical Center, specializing in ENT and plastic surgery.
In 2022, Michael moved to the Knoxville area, where he worked for a year in the OR at Parkwest Medical Center. Now as an invaluable member of our team, Michael works directly with Dr. Overholt and Dr. Panella .
Michael and his family of five decided to relocate to East Tennessee to fulfill their dream of having acreage to call their own. Outside of work, they enjoy raising pigs, turkeys, chickens, and bees. When it’s time for some serenity, they enjoy nothing more than simply relaxing on the lake.
